We are committed to protecting the personal information of all website visitors to the NEOM.com domain.
This Notice, governed by the Personal Data Protection Law of Saudi Arabia (PDPL), explains how we responsibly and lawfully collect and use your information, and how we protect your privacy.
This Notice should be read together with:
a) NEOM’s Cookie Policy, which explains when and how NEOM collects your cookies when you visit NEOM Platforms; and
b) NEOM’s Terms of Use, which governs access and use of NEOM’s websites and domains.

What Personal Data Do We Collect
Personal data is any data, regardless of its source or form, that identifies a person such as a visitor to the NEOM.com website- i.e. you - or may make the identification of that person possible.
The NEOM.com website must process the following personal information:
- Essential Browser Data and Trackers: such as your IP address and other website tracking information through “essential cookies”.
The NEOM.com website may process the following personal information:
- Personal identifiers: such as your name, location, language selection and other preferences you choose to submit online.
- Contact Details: such as phone number and email addresses provided in contact forms.
- Optional Browser Data and Trackers: such as your IP address, browser/device type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and Website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency, and other website tracking information through “optional cookies”.
Source of Personal Data
Your personal data is collected by NEOM:
- Directly from you when you submit information such as registering your personal data in any contact form or online submission, or through other NEOM.com interactive services.
- Indirectly from the web server which sends a short stream of identifying information to your web browser in the form of cookies.
The Purposes for Processing your Personal Data and Legal Basis
We only use personal data for the purpose it was collected for.
We process your personal data for the following reasons and have established a legal basis in law for doing so as follows. We rely on consent for the following activities:
- Communication: Such as when we respond to messaging, resolve queries or handle other submissions from you.
- Marketing and Advertising: Promoting NEOM regions and services to you based on your interests and behavior.
- Quality Review: Such as when we review data about how users interact with our services, including access dates and times, website features or pages viewed, browser type, website crashes, and other system activity to monitor and improve performance.
And legitimate interest to ensure site security, such as when we monitor traffic to identify whether the site is being used as expected.
Providing Personal Data to NEOM
In the event that any activity has relied on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. There may be another legal basis which requires us to process your personal data.
If you decline to provide personal information, we may be unable to provide a service or offering as described earlier such as providing you with additional information about NEOM or responding to your enquiries.
Storage and Destruction
Your personal data is stored securely either at NEOM or at a cloud computing service provider based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Personal data is only stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Personal data is retained for defined retention periods in line with regulatory, legal, and professional body standards and guides. This length of time may vary depending on individual circumstances. We regularly review our data retention period to ensure we are not keeping personal data for longer than necessary.
Any personal data subject to deletion is securely disposed of in line with NEOM’s Data Operations Policy and Guidelines.
How do we Disclose your Personal Data?
We will not disclose your personal data to any third party for direct marketing purposes.
Your Data Privacy Rights
You can exercise your privacy rights, under certain circumstances, pursuant to the Kingdom’s Privacy Laws and Regulations. These rights are not absolute and are subject to qualifications.
Right to be Informed: You have the right to be provided with information about how we use your personal data, and about your rights.
Right of Access: You have the right to access your personal data.
Right of Request: You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a readable and clear format.
Right to Correction: You have the right to request the correction of your personal data.
Right to Destruction: You have the right to request the destruction of your personal data.
Unless otherwise stipulated by the law, you will not be required to pay any fees in return for exercising this right. You will receive a response within 30 days from receipt of the request.

Complaint and Appeal
